Planning starts in September 2024 and we’ll be updating this page and our social media with exciting news that will make the 26th St Patrick’s festival the biggest and best YET!

Passing on Irish Culture

We partnered with St Colman’s Hurling Club, offering taster sessions for children and young people. There was a tremendous take up for this fast paced sport.

84% of these children were of Irish heritage.

We believe that by offering opportunities to young people that we can help to pass on a love of Irish culture to second and third generation Irish. We also welcome participants from the wider Luton community, for a chance to stay active, meet new friends and most importantly - HAVE FUN

Understanding our past

We host cultural evenings to help us understand and learn about Irish History, with expert speakers in their field.

These events are lively and always well attended. Learning about our past helps to shape a brighter future.

Past speakers have included Prof Rob Savage, Prof Marianne Elliott OBE, Ivan Gibbons & Tim Pat Coogan

Sharing the Past with Young People

We visit local schools to deliver interactive heritage sessions to help children and young people understand the unique multicultural identity of their town and why families emigrated to Luton.
