Stepping into Christmas – Luton Irish Forum’s Christmas Social
“Haven’t seen that kind of energy on a dance floor in quite some time!” said Patrick Rochford of The Embassy Of Ireland.
The LIF Choir performed a selection of carols to a packed venue of Luton Irish Forum members, trustees, volunteers and staff, gathered for the annual Christmas Social at Luton Celtic Club on 8th December. Everyone got into the festive spirit, sitting down to a two-course cooked buffet and dancing it off afterwards to Eamon’s Country Sounds. LIF Diversity Champion, Eamonn Cunniss led some very energetic Line Dancing and The Conga. Councillor Rochford chatted with members and hopes to return for the St Brigid’s Day event and St Patrick’s GAA Blitz.
No LIF event would be complete without a raffle and members walked away with some fabulous prizes. LIF CEO Noelette Hanley said, “We are very grateful to the staff of Luton Celtic Supporters Club for hosting us once again and for being as helpful as ever with the arrangements. Our Christmas Social would not be possible without the support of our staff and volunteers who work tirelessly all year round to make this and all other LIF events successful and memorable for our members. We are indebted to each and every one of you.”
